Moss Engineering was born in 1993 from over 40 years of front line experience in special purpose machine tool manufacture within ‘Moss Machine Tools‘ (1947-1992).

During that time my Father, Roger was involved with some fascinating Special purpose machine tool projects from the design stage onwards, and continue to offer a consultancy service in both the areas of design and troubleshooting.

His wider engineering work has now long been coupled with an on-going love affair with motorcycles and motorcycle competition. He production raced a race-kitted Laverda 750 SF and a Ducati 750SS in the early 1970s. It was, however, in the arena of vintage motorcycle road racing that he gained experience in the tuning and (constant)rebuilding of ‘Scott’ motorcycle engines and transmissions. He now offers his services in this area to those for whom only the best is good enough.
